To Use This Learning System:

The Critical 60 Method is designed to be used by parents who have completed a “Teaching Young Drivers – The Critical 60 Method” class at a local community college. This two-evening class was designed to prepare parents to use the tools here.

The course teaches:

• What’s New In Driver Education
• How To Encourage Safe Driving Behaviors
• Driving Tech – The Science Of Safety
• How Crashes Really Happen
• Learning Styles
• Teaching Techniques
• And All About How To Use The Critical 60 Method And This Website

If you can’t take a class, you can use the thirteen lesson plans. They are self explanatory. But you should not expect to get results equal to a parent who has taken “Teaching Young Drivers – The Critical 60 Method”

If your local community college does not offer the class, you might suggest that they contact Howard Community College to sign up.

Using the Website:

1. If you do not have an account please select "create an account". Follow the instructions in the email you will receive.
2. Have your student register. They will also need to verify registration from the email they receive.
3. Click on "connect to student" and search for the student by their user name.
4. Click on their name to send them a connection request.
5. When they confirm the link in the connection email, the link your connection will be activated.
